1. Strategic planning and business development
- Develop of business strategies in the management region (Retail and others channel);
- Develop annual business plans for the region, approve targets for stores;
- Operate, manage and organize the implementation of business plans and sales KPIs;
- Market survey and assessment to determine customer needs, propose new product development plans;
- Do the market analysis reports such as: competitors' prices, competitors' products, new trends... by periodically and when necessary;
- Propose the promotions and sales policies to develop business in the region;
- Develop new markets, increase potential customers;
- Contribute comments in the layout design for new stores / Store repair;
- Evaluate business performance of new stores and have timely improvement solutions.
2. Manage goods, budgets, sales profits and operating costs in the region
3. Site selection and open new stores in North territory
- Plan for sites development target monthly, quarterly, yearly;
- Identify and evaluate potential sites for new store establishments;
- Manage Site Development Team to secure company’s objectives;
- Site identification and sourcing activities for Pharmacity formats;
- Conduct research into the suitability of potential sites for Pharmacity and make recommendations to the Board of Management;
- Establish (and maintain) relationships with landlords and to conduct negotiations with landlords in line with business strategy;
- Manage contract completion activities (lease agreements, tenancy agreements etc.; Manage existing leases and tenancy agreements, including contract renewal replacement, closure…;
- Once contracts have been concluded, overseeing the handover of sites to Operations and attending to defects that fall under the Landlord’s scope of works before/after store opening;
4. Administration responsibilities:
- Organize and manage office operations and procedures; review and approve supply requisitions for internal consumption and other requirements;
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions;
- Maintain communication channel between Hanoi branch and Saigon SSC to ensure work quality are consistent.
5. Human Resource responsibilities:
- Maintain office staff by selecting, recruiting, orienting, and training employees;
- Maintain office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
6. Legal responsibilities:
- Build up networks in the pharmaceutical network in the north to support the inspection for new store opening;
- Ensure stores operated in compliance with government regulations;
- Representatives for the company to handle issues related to the branch operation and store operation;
7. Communication responsibilities:
- Ensure Management Team informed by providing information and analyzing special reports;
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending professional workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies to promote company image in the market and publicity;
Co-ordinate with other Heads of Department such Trading, Marketing, Accounting, Internal Audit to manage staffs who are based in branch; manage manpower and support them to ensure deliverables of targets.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- At least 5 years in Retail industry, Pharmacy Retailer or reputational retail chain is preferred
- Fluent in English
- Planning and forecasting for midterm and long term.
- Skills of monitoring and assessment
- Motivate, training, coaching staffs and delegation; problem solving and decision making skills.
- Market analysis, market assessment and competitor intelligence, business sense to recognize the threats and opportunities
- Good in people management, and strong leadership skills
- Solid background in retail model (store chain).
- Good communication, build and maintain relationship with governmental organizations.
- Negotiation skills
